AREAS OF EXPERTISE

30 years experience in clinical and scientific work in pulmonary medicine, restorative medicine and physiotherapy. Specialized in diagnostic of early stages of asthma and COPD; prevention and rehabilitation, industrial medicine; aerosol therapy; respiratory hygiene, biomedical technology.

1989: Ph.D. (Pulmonary medicine) for thesis “Clinical functional Study of the early Stage of Chronic Bronchitis”.

Headed the experimental and clinical studies of medicinal salt aerosols’ mechanisms of action and its efficiency. The author of the method used controlled medicinal environment of dry sodium chloride aerosol (halotherapy), haloinhalation therapy,  biocontrolled aeroionotherapy.

2001: Doctor of Medical Sciences Theses – “Haloaerozol Therapy in Overall Treatment and Prevention of Respiratory Diseases”.

Author of more than 270 published works, 11 patents, 6 monographs, several guidelines for pulmonary and physiotherapy physicians on prophylaxis, medical rehabilitation, the use of aerosol therapy.

Author of the chapters (physiotherapy for asthma, COPD, pneumonia and etc., aerosol therapy,  halotherapy, aeroionotherapy, aromatherapy) of the National Guidelines for physiotherapy physicians.

Lector on post-graduate education for physicians in pulmonary and rehabilitation medicine, physiotherapy.
