In the middle of May the conference of School of Specialization in Medical Hydrology of University of Pavia (Italy) took place at Domina Prestige Hotel in St. Petersburg, Russia.

Workshop was devoted to the current issues of salt therapy. 20 Italian physicians, pharmacists, and biologists have participated in the event. I was invited by Prof. Cesarina Gregotti, Ph.D. (Universty of Pavia) to give a lecture “Salt rooms and halotherapy: focus on Italian versus Russian experience”. St. Petersburg is the birthplace of halotherapy. We have the great scientific and practical experience in the field in Russia and other countries. The lecture aroused great interest among the participants, many questions were asked.
